The UAE has launched a groundbreaking health protocol aimed at reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases by one-third by 2030. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced this initiative as part of its broader efforts to combat heart disease and stroke, which are the leading causes of death in the country. The “Your Pulse” Project Central to this new protocol is the “Your Pulse” project, a national system for the early detection of cardiovascular disease risk. The project aims to identify individuals at high risk of heart attacks and strokes early, allowing for timely intervention and treatment. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in reducing the mortality rate from cardiovascular diseases. Standardized Protocol for Early Detection The new protocol includes a standardized approach to early detection, ensuring that healthcare providers across the UAE follow consistent guidelines for screening and diagnosing cardiovascular diseases.
