This disruption affected millions of users worldwide, preventing them from accessing these popular social media services. Reports indicate that the outage began around 11:29 PM IST (12:50 PM ET) and lasted for approximately two hours, with services gradually being restored shortly after. The Outage Details During the outage, users encountered various issues across all three platforms. WhatsApp users were unable to send messages or make calls, while Facebook became completely inaccessible. Instagram users faced similar problems, with many being logged out and reporting unresponsiveness. According to Downdetector, a website that tracks service outages, over 105,000 complaints were filed regarding Facebook and around 70,000 for Instagram in the United States alone.
