It’s possible that you made the wrong hiring decision, but it’s also possible that the person needs skill development and training for specialized projects, or maybe they feel demotivated by their work environment. 

It becomes the manager’s responsibility to give the employee the assistance they need. Try a new employee training strategy or help them to set their performance goals. Conducting employee performance reviews will allow you to keep an eye on their progress.

Managers who are not good at communicating an idea can lead their employees to be confused and disengaged with their roles. Hence, to avoid such challenges, you have to communicate efficiently.

You must manage your expectations and take a practical approach when setting goals for your team. Even if you meticulously planned everything to achieve your goals, you have to think practically and ask yourself if it is possible to complete the task practically as planned.
